The Act of Killing is een documentaire uit 2012 over de massamoorden in Indonesië tijdens de militaire staatsgreep in de jaren ‘60. De documentaire heeft veel stof doen opwaaien. In de film worden voormalige doodseskaderleiders en paramilitaire boegbeelden van toen geïnterviewd.

The Act of Killing is a 2012 documentary about the mass murder that took place during the military coup in the 1960s. It had a major impact and stirred up controversy. In the film, former death squad members and paramilitary leaders of the time are interviewed.
