Nootmuskaat, kruidnagel en sandelhout staan prominent afgebeeld op deze Nederlandse specerijenkaart. De kaart verschijnt in 1592, en wordt vele malen herdrukt. Zo wordt in Nederland de handel in deze winstgevende specerijen gepromoot.
