Roof of De Nieuwe Kerk opened in festive Amsterdam style

On Friday, March 21, The Roof of Amsterdam will officially be inaugurated by mayor Femke Halsema. A celebratory program featuring numerous Amsterdam artists will entertain the audience gathered at Dam Square. The church has a special treat for the first 75 interested visitors—they will have free access to the roof!

From Luna to Joost van Bellen

The public opening kicks off at 16.30 with performances by artists such as DJ Isis, Dave Dekker, Jeangu Macrooy, Yves Berendse, LUNA, and DJ Joost van Bellen.
At around 17.45, 75 wristbands will be handed out at Dam Square, free access to the roof (only on Friday). By 18.30, the festivities will conclude.

Starting Saturday, the first visitors will be welcome from 11:00 onward. Book your tickets in our ticketshop.
