Is De Nieuwe Kerk open?
De Nieuwe Kerk is open daily from Monday to Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM. E-tickets advised. Click here for e-tickets.

Can I buy tickets at the ticket desk?
Yes, but our timeslots have a maximum, to provide a safe and quiet visit. Tickets are available here on our website. Click here for more information about e-tickets and timeslots.

Can I pay in cash?
No, it is not possible to pay with cash in the museum. At the Museum shop and cash register you can only pay by pin.

Do I have to wear a face mask?
As of June 26, it is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask in museums. This is also the case in De Nieuwe Kerk. We have arranged disinfection columns everywhere in the building, lockers instead of wardrobe, one-way traffic in the building. By accepting the General Terms and Conditions of De Nieuwe Kerk, you agree to all measures to provide a safe and quiet visit.

Is there a cloakroom to leave my coat?
You can use the self-service lockers to store your belongings. However, only use one if necessary. You are allowed to keep your coat in the exhibition and (small) bags may be brought inside. You must clean the lockers yourself after use; disinfectants are available.

Can I use the toilets in ’t Nieuwe Kafé?
As long as we are obliged to maintain the corona measures, you can only use toilets in De Nieuwe Kerk after requesting so to a staff member. View the map here for their locations. To get to the accessible toilet a staff member will accompany you.

How do I get to De Nieuwe Kerk?
There are two large parking garages within walking distance of De Nieuwe Kerk, at Nieuwezijds Kolk and on Beursplein. There is ample bicycle parking space in the guarded bicycle shed on Beursplein. Traveling by public transport is strongly discouraged. Click here for more information.
