Kingsday this year (2025) falls on 26 April, the museum is then closed for public.
De Nieuwe Kerk is always closed on: 25 December (Christmas Day), 1 January (New Years Day), 27 April (Kingsday), 4 (Remembrance Day) and 5 May (Liberation Day).
Public transport
De Nieuwe Kerk is located on Dam Square, Amsterdam. It is a 10 minute walk from Central Station. Nearly all trams to and from Central Station stop at Dam Square. For more travel information: gvb.nl, ns.nl, 9292ov.nl.

Parking
There are three public car parks close to De Nieuwe Kerk: De Bijenkorf (department store), Central Station and Nieuwezijds Kolk.

All the galleries and facilities are accessible for wheelchair users. Toilets are available in the substreet level of ‘t Nieuwe Kafé, accessable by elevator.
